    O/T Oh for an Erica

In those innocent days of the early 1980s desperate publicity seekers usually got their kit off as per Erica Roe, aka the Twickenham Streaker. Now they hunt down statues, do a "spontaneous" Citizen Smith Black Power salute and get it immortalized by a publicity seeking "artist" like Marc Quinn. The BBC and the media fell for the stunt giving both Jen and Marc extensive coverage and no doubt boosting interest in his next installation - cubes of the frozen blood of asylum seekers. My avatar is a final salute to Guy Gibson's heroic dog, whose memorial is today removed from RAF Scampton.

There should be a statue of Erica Roe outside Twickers. Whatever happened to the good old streaker.

As funny as Keith Chegwin hosting a game show naked?

Eric, you're usually on the ball so I can't believe that you haven't heard that the BBC are discussing with Barry Hearn the adoption of "colour neutral" balls for World Snooker. The likely outcome is grey balls each numbered. The "reds" will all be a pale shade of grey and the grey will get darker as the value of the ball increases. It will ruin snooker as a spectacle but if it keeps BLM happy that's a small price to pay imo.

As rediculous as that sounds there are reports that the moaning of BLM are having a knock on effect in the fruit and veg business

There are plans to replace the word black in blackberries and blackcurrants with the colour purple

Then they realised that the colour purple already had slavery connotations and might cause issues and confusion

I've think I have been wrong about BLM all along. I'm beginning to FEEL the pain. Not only Lenny, Lewis, Spike and Idris who have been downtrodden but today I read in Vanity Fair a heartrending article by millionairess Oscar and Emmy award winning actress, Viola Davis. She has struggled all her life, would have joined the street protests but didn't need to because (quote): "I feel like my entire life has been a protest. My production company is my protest." Finally she was persuaded from actually doing anything by fellow millionairess, Octavia Spencer, who too has felt the constant pain of discrimination despite winning Academy Awards, Golden Globes and 3 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Oh the pain of these poor unfortunates. We whites have a lot to answer for.
