    Kai selling the club

Never gonna happen who will pay £200m for a newly promoted club
We are not established in Prem like we were when he bought us

Maybe he’s hoping to recoup his outlay by redeveloping some of the land that was part of the deal?

How much of an inroad into the vastly inflated price he paid will the land make? In the current climate I’d think not much.

I think the only way Lai will sell is if/when he accepts he’s going to take a big loss. The politics involving China and the West may still have a big part to play if overseas investment is impacted.

The world is changing dramatically as we speak.....All clubs have lost huge amounts of money, with the prospect of more been incurred in this coming season.......Not a good time to be selling.....not a great time to be buying....YET!!

China has banned Premier league games being shown due to the stand off over Hong Kong. This will have a serious knock on effect not only for Sky but all clubs owned by the Chinese. The situation will no doubt not improve any time soon. I can see looking for a way out. I can't see him investing in the club anymore. But Dowling has stated that we will spend as much as Sheffield United did last summer, around 60m. Anyway when did we ever achieve twelve seasons in the Premier league, eight consecutive one's by being bank rolled? We are a proper football club who gain by merit, not by a sugar daddy. Dowling got in some good players last summer and i like the way he is operating. The squad doesn't need a major overhaul, just tweaking, the same as when Giles took us up all those years ago. It's not how much you spend but getting the right players in. We need a keeper, and a couple of good forwards as a priority. Bilic has managed at Premier league and international level so I put my trust in him to build a decent team.

A good over view 55.....Pretty spot on.....
I agree...if we can keep Diangana for another season...that would be good news for the club. It looks like some of the younger players are making a little impact in the right direction.....
GK and forwards are a must.....

I would take Joe Hart on a free, try and get Diang for another season loan. Bilic wants Croatian International CB Vida, he and Hart would add much stability to the defence and get players fighting for places. But the bulk of the kitty must go on striker's. I don't take much notice of reports who we are interested in as Albion never reveal their targets. Vida could be a false lead as he is 31 and Dowling wants a younger squad. We will just have to wait and see.

While Johnstone isn't the worst 'keeper in the world I do think we need a new number one. He doesn't command his area and doesn't instil confidence in the defence. Joe Hart, I'm not sure of. Been excellent in the past but seems to have lost his 'mojo'. Tim Khrul, had a very good year at Norwich and the lad at Bournemouth are both possibilities. Youngster, Alex Palmer looks a good prospect but not quite ready yet.
