How long before SD says it was a strange game. ?

I was confident about getting a result against today’s opponents , but it seemed pretty clear after Brighton’s second goal went in that it was not going to be our day and the visitors deserved their three points. I don’t know about you ,but I thought we were suffering from a hangover from the win at Carrow Road. Brighton were nothing special today- they didn’t have to be.Apart from Wood’s well taken goal , and the disallowed header we created very little at all. I think our performance today has even surprised Graham Potter and his team. I am sure they thought they would have had a more difficult game than what they actually got . It took a world class strike to beat Nick Pope , and the second goal , came from one of the many times we were exposed down the flanks. I think most people will be glad the season has come to an end. Considering how the squad has looked all season, 10 th place is to be commended. It’s just a shame we couldn’t get a positive result to finish it all off.
