    Marshall in way

After the Hart move was hijacked at the last minute I hear the Rams are signing Marshall from Wigan.....

You say Marshall...the DT suggests Phillips from Charlton. I think I prefer your version, Rich.

In the meantime I see another striker we were strongly linked with - Steven Fletcher - has opted for Stoke. Pity, good player...you have to wonder what is going on.

What is going on is that the "links" you chose to believe were there did not exist. Just journalistic claptrap. So when they don't happen, don't feel deflated - they were never going to.

Guess we’ll see! Definitely a keeper needed though!

I didn’t necessarily believe them and I agree they’re frequently unfounded, but you have to wonder if the uncertainty surrounding the club is a factor. Why else would someone choose Stoke over Derby?

Wages? They may still have a bit of parachute left? Team favouritism aside there's not too much to chose between the two. Both clubs with a better past than an obvious future. Mediocre Midlands team in not very exciting locations. Why not pick the one who offer more money

Really? Hope it's on a free. He's 35 and Scottish goalkeepers don't enjoy the best of reputations

Rich I will take Marshall better than what we have at the moment He was top class for Cardiff for a long time . He went to Hull for £5million lost his form a bit there a(like everybody seems to ) went to Wigan and has played well for them .As long as we don't go giving stupid 3or4yr contracts to him ,I would be happy to have him.
