I'm wary of these rumours (one site I looked at said "sources in Lancashire confirmed" - yeah right!).
I do agree, though, Saxo, that in difficult financial times, he would be a decent stop-gap.
With keepers, age is less relevant, and he would be very good as a mentor for Fisher.
