    Doctors

When social distancing is clearly in place then why are many doctors still not seeing patients unless they are almost dying? Telephone consultations can usually diagnose Jack s hit!!

Presume if doctors can’t sit 2m away from a patient in their treatment rooms then doctors are not going to restaurants or to the shops in general as they may deem it too risky!!! Complete joke!

Hospital doctors though and staff are excellent but many don’t want to go there with the virus or the first port of call! Get ready for an explosion of cancers and mental health issues erupting!

Doctors and teachers need to have a serious look at themselves.

The situation with GP’s is utterly pathetic.

Wait to schools go back Mick! Teachers will become a law to themselves and can hear the words now “ we are in so much danger”

Some of these liberal teachers though for sure will have been amongst the London demonstrations! Different though when they have to work 3/4 of the year albeit - it’s been one nice holiday since March FFS this year! Poor things....

A few weeks ago I called my doctors surgery regarding breathlessness and fatigue. We have no choice regarding which doctor we speak to but whoever it is, it must be via a phone call. the doctor said we’ll give you some blood tests; a week later, nothing, so I call them again, to be told that the blood tests were normal. I asked whether the doctor was going to call me, the reply was ‘why, the tests were normal’! I pointed out that the problem hadn’t gone away as a result of having had some blood tests. This was on a Thursday morning and I was then offered another call by a doctor, the following Tuesday! That was the earliest that any doctor could call me, I was told. The following Tuesday I received a call from a different doctor and having gone through the issues again, he told me to see how things go for a few weeks......! Why f***ing bother? I’ll probably die soon anyway.

After nearly five months, haven't heard of anyone I know who has suffered or died from coronavirus. Quite a few I've spoken to locally say the same. Proof to me that it's concentrated in certain areas, so no excuse for local GP's to virtually shut up shop.

Well I work in a vets and I can guarantee that animals are getting far better treatment than people, and have done through this pandemic. Obviously this is aside to the Covid victims and care at hospitals, which has been outstanding. I am referring to speaking to vets, getting check ups and follow ups done and being seen for urgent things.

My wife is an infant teacher and was in school all through the lockdown, looking after children of essential workers. Although it is reported that children are unlikely to catch Covid 19, there is nothing to say that they can not transport the disease. They live with adults, and we all know that all adults are not responsible citizens.

As the situation eased and some of the other children ventured back, it was common place for the children to say they had been to some pub or other for their tea. Obviously mixing with people outside the family bubble.

Teaching is not an easy job, although many think it is. My wife easily clocks up a sixty hour working week, often not home till nine pm, and still working after midnight. She leaves the house at 7.20 am and is in school before eight.

I am surprised that all the people who criticize teachers and accuse them of having an easy life, don't get themselves a degree, and join the profession, After all, they only work 9 to 4 and have all those holidays.

GP’s do need to take a long hard look at themselves, they are using Covid as an excuse to not see patients, yet community/district nurses are expected to see more to cover the gap. My wife has patients on her round that have deteriorated to the point that some are now looking at end of life cancer scenarios all because GP’s won’t visit to refer or diagnose. Do they see themselves as special above other front line workers? I feel GP’s do!!

I had a worrying blotch on my face so the doctor told me I had to photograph it and email a picture to the surgery and they called me back after viewing it.

    All fine and dandy.

    What happens if I have a problem with my c o c k?

I’m not joking by the way.

I seriously do not want my meat and two veg being the hot topic in the village.

    It’s becoming farcical now.
