What a bunch of cheating, diving, play acting actors, not calling them footballers ! It reminded me of the wrestling from the 60s ! The referee just turned himself OFF and basically left them too it, win at ALL costs never mind the Game.

Yes it spoiled it some what because other than that I thought it was a cracking game.

Yes I agree MILLERSTALE, it reminded me of the world cup final that Howard Webb refereed between Spain and Netherlands where the Spanish lot threw themselves to the ground every time someone touched them. In the end I felt sorry for the referee on what should have been the highlight of his career being spoiled by a bunch of overpaid, overrated "footballers". And the Dutch were just as bad, especially De Jong who should have been red carded.

I didn’t feel sorry for him at all. He should have exerted his authority on the game from the start. Instead he let them get away with it.
