    Well Done Pakistan.

    At the cricket today.

After being hammered for almost two days by England and especially by young Zak Crawley they eventually got Crawley out for 260 odd.

The Pakistani players came from all around the pitch to go up to Zak to personally congratulate him on his brilliant innings.

Fantastic sportsmanship by these guys......it actually made my day to see their reaction.

Very well done to them,it’s the way sport should be.

Honourable gentlemen every one of them. Nice to see such sportsmanship in this day and age.

Really pleased for young Zak who I highlighted on here a while back as a great prospect. Followed his progress through all levels of Kent cricket from club league to Kent first team. Really unassuming guy who just strives for perfection. Lets hope that he can carry on in this vein of form now.

Yes indeed, it was really good to see good sportsmanship. Credit must be given to both the West Indies and Pakistani teams for coming and adhering to the strict Covid restrictions to enable both test series to be played.

Yes I saw that as well......heartwarming to see. In fact I heard a BBC interview with Shan Masood on the radio yesterday during a rain break. Very intelligent guy and good sense of humour - filled in 20 mins nicely on the way back from Cornwall.

Yes indeed great to see. But, what a shame that nowadays it comes worthy of comment !
In my cricketing days from a promising schoolboy in the early 1960s, such behaviour was the norm. A decent knock or indeed wicket take was always celebrated and congratulated by all. If you snicked the ball and the keeper caught it and appealed...you walked. No need to see/await the umpire’s decision.
In my lowly club days, if as a fielding side a batsmen was given out by the umpire, but the fielder knew he had ‘grounded’ the catch...the umpire would be advised and the fielding skipper would call the batsman back.
I think it’s a reflection of our current life and standards...sadly.
