in this case I have to be skeptical over how much the club actually accepted. It feels like we’ve accepted less than previously agreed. The DR Report that it could possibly reach 3.25m means that’s the maximum after add ons or whatever other tricks are being used. It should have been the base before add ons.

That was the deal we accepted last time. Not only can it be assumed we had a verbal - possibly contractual - agreement with Turnbull to sell him for the same fee, how much was he worth when lying in hospital with a year left on his contract? We'll see in the accounts the details soon enough but on what info is publicly available I find it astonishing anyone thinks the club could have done more.

Yeah - some folks need to cast their minds back to around 7-10 years ago when we were selling players. It was like the first club to offer 2 bob and a few Chelsea Woppa's we grabbed the deal!
The level of business acumen ATM is not to be sneered at. Best part of 3.5M in the midst of a Pandemic !!! Reality check needed methinks.
