    It’s all gone very quiet!

    Little transfer news today.

Looks like Austin will be leading the line on Saturday.

He can do what he likes on Saturday. It's who plays up front on Sunday that counts

I was pretty sure Grant would have been announced by now as I was led to believe he was having a medical yesterday. Getting jittery again just like waiting on Diangana.

Also, what is happening regarding Krovinovic? We are playing Leicester in 5 days' time and absolutely no news regarding his future!

Personally less worried about Krovinovic although would like to see him back.

I am more worried that is the team any better than the one we had last year which in my opinion isn’t good enough to stay up in the PL. the reworked Championship from 10th December would have seen us finish 9th last season and that was over 26 games, hardly a small sample.

We finished the season with no momentum but thankfully for our finances at least we got promoted. At the moment we have Kipre as an addition but is he better than what we have already I doubt it. Firming up previous loan deals means we haven’t gone backwards but how much forward have we gone?

Unless we get some improvements in a striker who can regularly get us some goals then I fear this will be a very long season, with little to cheer. We can’t afford to be left behind during September so the next few days/ weeks are going to be crucial.

Tulloch of to Darren Moore’s Doncaster on loan. Good loan this is as Big Dave knows him well.
