    Prediction League - Sheffield United

Seems like last season only ended yesterday

We are back with another year of the Prediction League. Wolves head into their third straight season of Prem football. Let's hope we finish better than 7th this time

But where will you finish in the Prediction League? Who will unseat Woody as the champion?

    Rules:
    1. Get your predictions in before kickoff.
    2. Predict the final score (for Cup matches, only the score at 90 minutes will be counted. Anything that happens in extra time or penalties is irrelevant for the purposes of this competition).
    3. Predict the first Wolves goalscorer. (if you predict Wolves to go scoreless, then you cannot predict a goalscorer).
    4. 3 points for correctly predicting the result and score. 1 point for correctly predicting the result. "Goal differential" awarded for correctly predicting the first Wolves goalscorer.
    5. Have fun!

Wolves take on Sheffield United on Monday for the first match of the season. Hopefully our players are well rested and ready to go for the new season. It doesn't look like Sheffield made any massive signings and the jury is out if Wolves really did or not as well. I'm assuming that the Blades will be slightly fresher than us as they didn't deal with Europa League and got a couple preseason friendlies, whereas this will be Wolves first taste of competition since losing to Sevilla.

    Sheffield United 2-2 Wolves

Tough one this. Going to be optimistic though.

1-0 Wanderers [Traore], in a horribly tight game.

As Woody says, this is going to be tough, no pre season and only a short rest.
Going for a close 1-0 win to Wolves.

We havenít had a normal pre season and still need to sign a right sided wing back... Weíve made some decent looking signings, but these will take at least a game or two to bed in.

On that basis canít see better than a draw... 2-1 to us Jimenez.
