Been a very good window for us

but and it's a massive BUT the squad is the same one minus Krovinovic plus a back up GK and a punt on a £900k centre half as struggled at the end of last season. Imo we need a goal scorer (Grant is the only one on the radar I'd be happy with) and a midfielder (Gallagher on loan for me) as a minimum.

All we have really done is keep what we had last season. We do need someone to bang the goals in.

I think it’s been an awful window for us to this point.

The barest it bare minimums was to keep intact the squad from last year including the loanees and with Krov not yet signed we still haven’t even managed that.

So far we have a £900k centre half from a relegated club and a nonentity from Brighton’s reserves.

Diangana, although a spend is only part of last years squad and pretty much a “no brainer” signing.

The money “spent” on Perreira was already allocated from last summers dealings.

Robinson is in effect a “free” having swapped with Burke.

I can’t believe we’ve let young Morton and Tulloch leave on season long loans with our striking cupboard so bare.

I’m dumbfounded that anyone can describe this window thus far as “good”.

    It’s been bloody pitiful.

Everybody knows that a striker is the absolute priority and a matter of extreme urgency. So Grant is ‘desperate’ to join the Baggies (if true that is very good to hear) but we are still well short of Huddersfield’s valuation (which is silly). Whatever, I just wish somebody would get their finger out and complete this matter. It will be so frustrating if the normal parsimonious Albion attitude were to result in the failure to get him.

I think we have made a very positive start to the window especially as I didn't think we had any chance of getting Diangana. We need a couple of exciting new names (Grant and Gallagher?) and I think it will then have been a good window. Pereira, Diangana and Robinson, are all a good age and very sound financial investments for the future of the club.

If anyone thinks this window has been good needs sectioning. We are weaker than last season and still without one of our best players in Krov! Can’t believe we won’t pay the Grant money!!!

Oh and Brunt and Barry off the payroll too!!!

F uckin crap and the sooner Lai goes the better!!

Early days, but with the new season approaching the lack of even one new forward is worrying. To start the season with the likes of Austin/ Kanu is pretty poor.
We still lack strength in depth, have a goalkeeper that makes Crichton look good, and a powder puff midfield, hopefully by the end of the window all of this will have been rectified.

Still need a 1st choice goalie, a left back, a defensive midfielder, an attacking midfielder and 2 decent centre forwards in my opinion

What we've done so far is OK but there's more that needs doing. I just don't understand why Krov. wasn't signed up ages ago. We've done well by getting Diangana and swapping Robinson for Burke but we're still well short in the striking department. What I don't want to happen, which often does, is for us to lose a player for the want of a couple of million extra. This includes our efforts to bring Krov. back.
