    Vs Preston

This is painful watching zero movement, sloppy passing, dodgy defending, poor control, we have a free kick in their third and 2 or 3 passes later it's with Roos

37 mins sums it up. We had a free kick on half way, we were DESPERATE to pass it back, it ended up with the keeper who hoped it out of play! Jesus wept

Meanwhile, Burton are really giving it some. Bucko in for Cocu?

I am having same doubts , he doesn't seem to grasp we have no energy or more importantly strength in midfield
Just watching Burton lesser players than Villa but they press and break with energy

Sorry...but Cocu has forgotten more about football than any of us have ever known.
Okay, we’re disappointed...although it is only the Carabao (distraction) Cup.
He’s building a side and I suspect, because of this season’s lengthy window, we may all have to be patient. If we get the two signings mentioned today it’ll be a huge step forward.
Either way, and I know I’ve said this before, it was a weakened side in a not very important competition. Be patient...we’re Derby fans, we should be good at that.
