    Is it worth it ?

You can watch the Sheffield United game for a tenner, if you want. Me, they'd have to pay me a tenner to watch it, I'm not anticipating a classic.

We only do "early exits" from cup competitions Alf.

We even contrived to get beat by Brighton on the last day of last season, to negate any possible chance we could qualify for that dreadful Europa League Cup thingamabob.

    Of course, Alf.

It's all a predicable ploy to minimise our number of games to only those that impact the EPL and eventual survival.

What's the point of running too few tired legs into the ground for no reward?

In fact, we should concede our league games against the top 5-6 clubs to help maintain a healthy squad (of 14).

What do you think? Would the "powers that be" let us?

It's even worth a 5M pound if survival gains us a lot more!

That would be my management tactic as buying players isn't on the agenda.

We could follow the lead set by Leeds, Crystal Palace and Southampton, in any case, do we really want to go to MIllwall in the next round?
