Remains to be seen how we line up but that looks a bit too cautious to me against the mighty, er, Brighton.

Looks like the same 442 as against Wet Spam...I don't think it's too cautious...and we shouldn't underestimate them as they played us off the park and had 71% possesion against us last season. (I know..."who didn't? ")

Our defending is horrible but blame is propably for Ashley and/or Bruce.

Aye, imagine blaming the guy that trains and picks the team...madness!

So far this match is a lesson on why the whole of Europe stopped playing 442...you lose the midfield...Bruce thinks it's 1992 again...

If ever a game showed the need for a creative midfielder/striker/centre back this is it.

Players play. Coaches coach. I have played and coached professional sport for 25 years. In my opinion players just hasnt showed up. You can always make excuses for formation. That doesnt matter when you are playing great.

And excuse me for bad English. I am trying to say that formation doesnt guarantee the success. The players are the ones who do.

Lascelles is awful everytime anyone runs at him he panics, Just no creativity in the midfield Wilson is trying but he cant do it all on his own.
