    Now he's Officially Gone

I'm hoping we can start playing attacking football again , that certain player's can go back to their positions in the Team that suits them, all swapping and changing GS did needs to stop , he eventually got the defence sorted , but left us totally benign up front , I'm glad he's gone , I wish him well though !
Who's next for the job , Jonny Weismuller !! ?

Surely they should have decided who’s getting the job, they’ve know for a couple of weeks that he was going and there’s not going to be too many managers out there that are willing to work under the strict guidelines we have at Oakwell.

I think we still have decent squad, admittedly we still need 2/3 quality players , it must be at the back of each Tarn fans minds though , will they want to cash in if any offers come our way , I think we all know the answer to that ,

The next Head Coach will be someone we have been after for years, a No 1 Target that trumps the previous No 1 Targets.

We must ev someone who heart is solely with Barnsley and will be ruerring if we achieve "divisional retention".

I read in the Official Statement that "several European clubs expressed interest" in Gerhard but the lure of the Red Bull was the one that Gerhard couldn't resist. It clear we we lucky to have him for a full eleven months after only spending five months at his previous club.

I never liked the dull, negative football played by "his boys" but it's said the best managers are the lucky ones.

He'll jump across the Red Bull set up fairly quickly back to Austria and good luck to the fella in his career.
