I'd rather get rid of the Big Six into a European Super League.
Our PL would then be genuinely competitive, with the money spread around more evenly.
    Not going to happen, though.

Probably everything I hate about football rolled into one article.
This is why I have been losing interest for ages now. Wrong on every level. Nothing I want to be part of.
Factoring in how painful it is to sit and watch a game behind closed doors I am just losing all interest.
I know how well Rovers have started the season. I have not watched one minute of one game and haven't missed it at all.
I should be spending £10 excited to see how we get on vrs Forest on Sat, but I simply can't be bothered, so will save my money. Great start or not, there is so much wrong in the game right now, its dying on its arse.
It's thought 5-6 league clubs will be gone within the next 2 months.
Rovers are in the bottom 3 on finances in the entire division. They are in huge trouble, and I said it before, they will be lucky to see the season out.
What these tiny % of super rich clubs are talking about here are to secure their future. Not look after the football pyramid in this country. I am a football fan first, a Rovers fan second. Football should always come above anything else.
Money is the contributing factor in all of this, which is sad. None of what is being proposed will stop small clubs going bust. And will not stop the mega rich, getting even richer.
In the same season Bury FC and Macc Town went bust, Prem clubs spent over half a billion in transfers fees. Alot of that went into agents pockets, not back into football. And all these few at at the top table want is to be even richer.

There IS a lot wrong with the game, Champs, but on a Saturday (and Tuesday!), it's still a football match, involving highly-skilled players. For that 90 minutes, the other stuff can be put aside.

That's the issue I have. Football is a sport where spectators have to be there. Its a different sport different game without. Unlike Golf, Tennis etc that can just carry on. Not much is different. Football is. And the product we are meant to be paying £10 per game now doesn't even resemble football. Its a pre-season friendly at best. I disagree with so much in football especially during this uncertain climate. I find it disgusting. And for once in my life I am willing to make a stand against something I totally disagree with. On a selfish note, unless I can go watch them live, I have no real interest.
The result, and details of the game I look at afterwards. But only cast an eye over it.
Alot of clubs will not get through this, Rovers very much high up on the list of being one of them. For me, that can't be ignored.
