A little promenade in the forest with my grand daughter teaching what type of mushrooms to look for.
    Not that many but delicious!

Evening John....Autumn over here has been very dry and it has hardly rained since the beginning of September. In fact last week the forest was as dry as a dead Dingo’s crotch!. So this afternoon I wasn’t really confident of finding anything but to my surprise I found a couple of kilo.
I will try again tomorrow but this time without my grand daughter to look after. Nothing quite like wild mushrooms!!

Totally agree with Frenchie, as a ****ager I used to pick mushrooms from the field in front of our house before school and our Mum would fry them for breafast, lush. They were good because cows were always crapping in that meadow.
