    No use

    That.

No idea why we were so open 1st half.

But apart from that hearts far too strong, far more streetwise and probably can't believe Mcpake set up like that.

    Sow.....my God.

Because first half we went with three centre halves, two of which can't run and one of the two slow ones had concrete in his boots. Forster off, 4-4-2 and instantly better - not great but better.

    Sow? FFS.

Afolabi was decent second half, he'll worry most teams this season.

Don't think we will see that Initial team lineup again.

At least Sow is on a pay as you play , so hopefully he won’t play again costing just the signing on fee then ,

Mcpake kidding himself on but no one else with that interview.

I've seen more even looking odd numbers than that game.

Disappointing that we had a better spell in second half and still lost 2 goals.

Too soon to say that, my opinion, but it is very worrying that the worst of last seasons play was very evident.

The same thing happened in the first game of the 2019-20 season. We were playing at Dunfermline with the game live on BBC Scotland. During the first half we were overrun by Dunfermline and managed to get a goal just before halftime. Again we had a better second half after McPake changed the system and we managed to get a draw.
I would have thought that James McPake would have done his homework on Hearts and set out his team not to lose an early goal.
We were overrun by Hearts during the first half and although we were better in the second half we were still susceptible to a quick breakaway by the Hearts forwards.
If James McPake does not get things sorted instead of hoping to get promotion we will be trying to avoid relegation.
    Dire days at Dens Park.
