He's not inspiring but I can't see him getting binned, 4th place is the bailout.....I'm not saying we will get 4th but I can't see us ever being out of touch for a play off spot.

That was exactly the same game as last week, we shaded it but never ever dominated, faith scored, Morton never.

We shud have had a penalty and there's a distinct lack of composure when we get in the box.

And that's 3 games now where the opposition has finished stronger.

In my opinion the problem lies with John Nelms who appointed James McPake as manager.
After McIntyre was sacked as manager Nelms said that the next manager of Dundee Football Club must be an experienced manager with from memory having been in charge of at least 100 first team games.
After apparently having received many suitable applications for the job Nelms then appoints James McPake as manager despite him having no previous experience as manager of a professional football club let alone for at least 100 first team games.
This appointment was made on the cheap.
Time for both James McPake and John Nelms to go.

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that the problem is in the recruitment process. The appointments are being made on how the individual interviews and not on experience or knowledge. Talk a good game and you get the job. Imagine Dick Campbell in an interview for the job

Nelms: 'Well Mr. Campbell, what makes you believe you're the right man for the job'?

Dick: 'Well ah ken whit the **** am dain' and can get useless lazy ******* fitba' players to graft for me and gie their best every time'.

Nelms: 'Sorry Mr. Campbell this was your opportunity to present your vision for the future of the club by giving a presentation that encompassed your beliefs and wider plans for all aspects of its running and its ethos'.

Dick: 'If you dinnae soart yer **** oot noo ye'll no hae a fkn future you thick ****'.

Nelms: 'Thanks Mr. Campbell I'll be in touch once I've been conned again by another clueless ****wit'.

As long as mcpake is manager, we won't go up.

He was clueless in the Hearts debacle, and even today, with ten minutes to go, we made swift brakes, then took the ball into corners instead of trying to win the game.

We won't go up because we do not have the mentality, even though we have a decent squad.

Only picked Dick because he has a tendency to tell it like it is whilst JN is more interested in the bull**** than experience or knowledge.
