    There are so many ex professional footballers who have suffered this in later life. When I was a kid they used to have them real leather laced case balls. When you headed it you knew about it.
    May be coincidence but desperately sad. Aside from Pele, probably the most recognisable footballer of the sixties.

    Remember seeing Sir Bobby on the TV at Man Utd a few years back and he had the head shakes then. Don't recall them ever filming him again after that.

    Whether or not someone complained about it I don't know but, they always show Fergie and Mick Hucknall together but no more Sir Bobby shots.

    I don’t recall Charlton heading the ball very often, when needed but he was a get it down on the ground type of player

    Dementia is getting more common because people are living longer, other illnesses and ailments used to get them before dementia could take a hold.
