National League board letter to the non-league paper

Embarrassing. The sooner we get out of this tinpot league the better.

Shockingly disconnected from reality. They really need to be exposed for this nonsense.

Members of the National League Board have written to David Emery, editor in chief of the Non-League Paper...

"Clubs have not only brought our Competition into disrepute but have severely hurt two individuals who have worked tirelessly and ceaselessly throughout the pandemic".

    What utter BS.

Their stupidity is summed up perfectly in one of the replies:

"The great majority of clubs were perfectly satisfied with their distribution"

Do they not see the irony of this statement? If there are many who are perfectly satisfied it stands to reason that their satisfaction has come at the cost of others who haven't been treated as well.

If I'm reading that right, they consider 13 out of 23 to be a 'vast majority', and 10 out of 23 to be a 'small minority'!

The initial letter to the National League was drafted by the Hereford Utd chairman and was also signed ten other clubs including Notts, Kidderminster, Maidstone Utd and AFC Telford.

Ok so ten from the whole NL including North and South. I thought for a minute they were all from our division.

Are we in the group who have called for resignations, and sent what have been described as vile correspondence, and defamatory?

Said letter was published and it certainly wasn't vile. Defamatory can mean whatever you want it to mean if a court proves it but to me it wasn't defamatory and sought to politely explain the misjudged allocation of funds.
