Well FM can at least rinse and repeat this report for tonight's game.
Been a no show past few games except Bournemouth. We are woefully bad in the last third. Crosses hitting 1st defenders poor free kicks to nobody .. People say we are good at set pieces i am still wondering what games they're watching . Smith is 6 3 barely wins a header in the box .Wiles isn't a wing back or winger is blatantly plain to see . I would rather see him in the middle and a winger playing on the wing . We have 3 players fit who played tonight can play out wide . Warne for me has run out of ideas .But he's a nice bloke and we have nice people and good people. So while we plummet back to fcking lg1 to be playing fcking Rochdale again we can all be happy that our players are moral human beings . Roy keane was a nasty ******* but a winner because he demanded 100% and you were told if you were bad, same goes for Alex Ferguson. Think some of our team have it easy and no there not gunna get a *******ing . I really thought we would do something this year but on the show so far we haven't learnt anything . MY OPINION OF COURSE
Not sure that Roy Keane is a good example of how being nasty makes someone a good manager (though Ferguson certainly is). He is just one of many failed ex managers who end up as pundits on tv and criticise current managers for what they couldn't do themselves.
"Keane stood down as manager on 4 December after bringing doubt on his future with comments made in the wake of the 4–1 home defeat by Bolton Wanderers the previous weekend. Keane's harsh management style was not appreciated by the Sunderland players, who were reported to have celebrated when they heard he had resigned".
"Many inconsistencies in the 2009–10 and the 2010–11 season meant that Keane's Ipswich side never really challenged for promotions and as a result of a poor run of form, ending up with his side dropping to as low as 21st in the Championship. Keane was dismissed as Ipswich manager on 7 January 2011".
I dont think Ferguson was nasty. The hairdryer is a mythe. Listen to what former players say about it.
I think Ferguson was brilliant with players while they were there. He gave everyone at the club respect - down to parents of academy players. But totally ruthless when their time was up or they fell out of line.
