    Paulo Rossi Dead At 64.

Memories of WC 1982 for me.

After returning to the side after a ban for dodgy dealings.

    An Italian hero.

    RIP.

Good player and gone long before his time. Although he had a two year suspension I didn't realise he'd made so few competitive appearances at club level. Still remember those three goals against Brazil in '82. It's hard to believe they left him completely unmarked on the six yard line for his third. He didn't even need to find space, they made it for him. No age at all really. RIP Paulo.

The match v Brazil has to be one of the most memorable in World Cup history. Motsons superb commentary only added to it.

I saw a picture earlier from that match of Rossi and Socrates. Very sad that neither are no longer with us. RIP. Great memories
