Is this where we go OTT and bemoan a player leaving the club who is better than a player we recently signed in same position?

Can we add Booty to the list to join Rose, Osbourne, Tootle, Bird, Crawford, Dennis?

On a serious note clearly a proper footballer with some talent just hope he can sort his fitness out and remain injury free for a good period of time.

Wish him well at Bradford PA

I’ve certainly not seen anyone bemoan the loss of Tootle or Rose in the above list.

Osbourne may become one that got away or not, time will tell.

Bird was probably unlucky, but I doubt any would say he’s better than we have, but again had the potential to be, or not.

Crawford certainly had talent, and he’s probably the only one in that group that justifiably may be better than what we have, but consistency in doing it is the question.

Dennis has some better attributes, he is definitely a better finisher than anyone at the club, but a forwards role is more than scoring in today’s game.

Booty was clearly talented but suffered from too many injuries.

    All the best Regan.

Booty was released at the end of last season because we could not keep him fit due to his injury history. As far as I am aware he was allowed to train with us until he found a new club.

Good luck to Booty. He’s a decent player. He just needs a bit more luck in avoiding injury.

He should have signed for The Pirates at the Memorial Stadium.

It’s a real shame his injury problems have set him back because I liked him as a player and think he has lots of promise and potential. It must be frustrating as a player as well. Hopefully he can overcome his injury problems and forge a career in the game for himself. He’s got the advantage of still being young enough.

Who knows maybe one day he’ll be back to complete unfinished business?

He was great on Football Manager last season. He and Enzio helped me romp up to League one.

Regan captained my team to the Premier League He was the longest-remaining 'real' player at Notts whilst I was a top-6 PL team.
