    I must take some of the credit. In a selfless act of desperation I had a few quid on Arsenal to win and a few quid on the draw. Worked a treat!!

    Yeah that was good three points... but we should have played against 9 men in the end.... how the ref chose a yellow is beyond me!

    I expect that alf will be doing cartwheels down Harry Potts Way after that win. Great team performance ---nobody let us down but I do wish that Wood had scored ---it was a sitter!

    Last 5 games have given us 8 points with 3 clean sheets ---onwards and upwards.

    It was a satisfying result.

    What I didn’t understand is how the referee can show a player a yellow card, which I thought should have been a red card, for a foul in the penalty area yet fails to award of a penalty.

    I explained on another thread that the corner kick had not been taken, therefore the ball was not in play so no penalty could be given, however, he should have issued a red card. What's the betting that they won't show that on MTOD?
