    If you ever get chance, read Brian Clough's autobiography. When he talks about football management, he says 90% of it is common sense. Its been a while but I do remember him saying effectively, the more you stop crosses from coming into your box, the less chance the other team have to score. The more crosses you put in the other team's box, the more chance you have to score. It really is that simple.

    And I would have kept Bilic, I liked him and he was likeable, passionate and tried to play positive football in the right way. But now he's gone and we have to move on.

    And, we do concede soft goals because we don't play with common sense. One of the most interesting points on that blueprint was not giving the ball away in your own half. We do that countless times in every match and cause our own defensive problems.

    So, if there is anything good to come from this, at least we will be harder to score against because we play sensible and odds-percentage football from now on. Its pragmatic, but its probably what we need to have any chance of staying up.
