As a kid I found it hard to tell him and Bobby Hope apart as they came out to play as they had a similar haircuts and features.
During games it was easy… Hope running up and down the wing and Gould was what we use to call a goal hanger standing around waiting for a tap in.
As they walked off at the end Hope and the rest were all covered in mud tip to toe but Gould looked immaculate and his hairspray held well.
Lazy Ponce some called him ( Sorry for the very polically incorrect langauge ) but coming from Wolves never helped his cause
