    Phillips, Sawyers, Livermore and Grant

I hope Fat Sam has seen enough to realize these four players are part of the big problem - absolute dross! All four need to be replaced and Slav should have acted earlier!

Don't think Big Sam will be as slow to be ruthless!

Jury's out with Grant for me. He hasn't exactly had the service and I do see the effort. If we go down, he could be very useful in the Championship and is still relatively young to come again.

Phillips has a burst of pace, that we are lacking with other players in the side. Having said that his positional play for the 1st goal v Newcastle was awful. But, I didn't think he was that bad v Villa. He was probably our best attacking outlet.

Sawyers and Livermore, couldn't agree more.... I think the whole midfield is a real issue. Other than Gallagher, the whole midfield has issues. They don't track runners and they give the ball away too easily, especially Sawyers. And in the case of Livermore, he's a walking yellow card at the very least.

I see Sam is looking at defenders, but I think we are well covered in that area. He should really be looking at midfielders/wingers with a bit of nous.

Grant needs to work harder. I am not a fan of Kanu but at least he does a fair bit of work off the ball. Thought Phillips last night was awful - lost possession - poor passing and out of his depth in this league - to be frank he has been consistently poor from lock down in the championship.

Totally agree 123 about the midfield as Villa were allowed to dominate from the first whistle.

I liked Bilic but he kept faith with poor performers week in week out. I know we lack quality but Krov, Field and Robinson are better options.

Diangana looks too predictable to me every time he has the ball. I hope Fat Sam tells Dowling to keep his nose out of player sourcing/selections!

Grant has been really disappointing but I am not in the camp to condemn him. He is not a centre forward; he is not a player who can play as a lone striker; he is not a target man. I think his strength is playing off or alongside another striker. At Huddersfield he showed he can score goals (whether he can consistently do it at this level has not yet been proven). I recall Huddersfield fans saying his strength was cutting in from the left and shooting with his right foot. He got into this position against Man City but bottled it when it came to shooting, perhaps a confidence thing. Until he has played with a centre forward or somebody who can effectively hold the ball up then I will hold off with the criticism.

Sawyers was terrible last night and Livermore is a plodder who always risks getting sent off. When you look at Grealish you see what a good midfielder looks like! Gallaher is terrific and would benefit from Krov being in the team who is far more mobile than the plodders. I won't condemn Grant given the complete lack of service. He needs support up front with either Robinson or Austin alongside. Diangana has been very disappointing recently. Phillips worked very hard at Man city but is not the answer to any question. It will be interesting to see what Sam does with the team selection and who he brings in. I have written off this season and am looking forward to the championship next season where I expect us to do well in the way that Norwich have done this season.

I can visualise a massive scramble amongst other clubs fighting over the signing of Livermore, Sawyers and Phillips.

I hope the club have strict social distancing measures in place in anticipation of the stampede down at B71.
