    Liverpool claims on VAR

Seeing reports that Firmino was fouled in the box when Ajayi scored, and that they should have had a penalty on Mane.
This is what I hate about Liverpool fans, the arrogance. Cant just accept they drew at home. Has to be a reason other than the opposition actually deserved it. Even Klipperty said we deserved the draw.

I was surprised they didn't find a way of ruling the goal out, I also couldn’t understand why the ref played an additional minute on top of the 4 In stoppage time, he allowed Liverpool a corner way over the allotted time. I am really starting to think football is rigged against the minows

Me to, to many debatable things go against what the majority see. However, with no wish to upset any of our own and having seen only the highlighted moments my first reaction was that Ajayi did use the Liverpool players shoulders to get lift. So, maybe for once it went in our favour or, if I was a sceptic, someone somewhere had a huge bet on a 1-1 draw.

To be fair, we did make a substitution in stoppage time. It is a minimum of 4 mins and they won a corner about 30 seconds over time which he allowed to be taken.

But I would like to see a ref do that in the same situation if it was us chasing a goal too

The Premier League is obviously rigged in favour of the big few as it’s they who all the plastic fans overseas want to watch. The league needs these teams at the top as it sells product

Regarding additional time, the number on the board is only ever advisory and the actual decision has always been the refs or am I wrong here?

As you say 123, we did make a substitution in injury time and the extra that the ref. added was about correct. I was also surprised that there was only four minutes of injury time as Matip was attended to on the pitch for quite a while. Usually, when there are no injuries they add about three minutes so we didn't do too badly out of it.
Having said all this, there is no doubt that the so called 'big' clubs do get many decisions that sides of out stature don't get.
Just an aside, my youngest son and I are both Baggies fans, but unfortunately my eldest son is a Liverpool fan. The three of us were watching the game last night and when we scored all three of us jumped up in the air. I asked my eldest why his jubilation. Unbeknown to us he had put a bet on a 1-1 draw and won £180. I asked him if he didn't mind dropping two points. His answer was that they were going to win the league anyway so it didn't really matter. To be honest, I found it hard to disagree with his prediction.

When O’shea Did that great tackle on Henderson and they said they’re checking VAR, I thought “here we go”.....amazed we weren’t done again for the 4th time.

Actually it was the first Albion game in ages where VAR had no impact ....... I was worried Ajayi may have been offside for the goal .... but positively I could already see the Big Sam effect ..... no one allowed themselves to get wound up and potentially get sent off .... if we can keep 11 on the field we might even have a chance ....

We have no control over it Barrera, unless we don't tackle at all. O'shea goes in hard and fair. I wouldn't like him to take that out of his game. Or Livermore. They both have to act like a couple of pansies now.

O'shea put in a great tackle and was penalised. I can't remember if he was yellow carded or not.
It was another example of where players in an elite team get the decisions.

With BFS at the helm hopefully we can play the same game and get some decisions in our favour.
I don't like it but that's the way you have to play nowadays.
