No-one seems to get any patience to turn results around.

I like Barton, anybody know how he got on with the assault charge against the Barnsley German?

It was postponed until June this year, he had pleaded Not Guilty but the case was delayed because of the Corona virus and the delay in the 2019/20 season.

"The former Newcastle, Manchester City and QPR midfielder....."

irritates when the former (earlier time) cherrypicks the fancied fruit instead of the nearest...but not so polished sounding ....oh noooo !

pehaps KritC knows more....think he's just down the road ?

Joey can - spend the day in bed.

"Joey Barton left his post as Fleetwood Town manager with immediate effect last night. The news had shocked the Football League and left Fleetwood fans in the dark. It comes a week after a rumoured bust-up with striker Ched Evans, who’s since left the club and looks set for a move to Preston North End in the Championship. Fans suspect that off-field actions might be behind Barton’s unexpected Fleetwood exit.

A report from The Daily Mail has taken a deeper look into what’s gone on at Highbury, explaining how Barton has had previous ‘altercations’ with Fleetwood players. Barton and Evans are alleged to have ‘come to blows’ in the dressing room following their 1-0 win over Swindon Town last month. A bad atmosphere had been rumoured to have ‘festered’ among sections of the Fleetwood Town first-team, with owner Andy Pilley having reached an agreement to part ways with Barton. He leaves Fleetwood in 10th-place of the League One table."

Good lad Joey, never a dull moment when he's around.

I heard he referred to Evans as a "dirty nonce," which did not go down to well in the dressing room.

I was cycling through Fleetwood a few days ago but no signs of Joey packing his bags so I am as surprised as others, I thought he was a good fit for the Cod Army (West coast division).

Maybe, but it seems a bit odd that he should have a problem with Evans' past, Joey signed him on loan, then signed him full time, you have to presume he knew who he was signing. You'd think they'd get on, reminiscing about times spent at Her Majesty's Pleasure. But Joey's Joey isn't he, not really full shilling.
