    Lockdown rules

My niece has gone to work this morning at Next, they are doing click and collect.
I thought the rules was you could only go out to buy essential goods, Next don't sell essential goods.
So does that mean the customers are breaking the law ,going to fetch click and collect.
    Doesn't make sense to me.

Many shops are taking the piss and that's why the country is in a MESS. Marks and Spencer in our town have their clothes floor open as they are getting away with it because the bottom floor sell food - idiots!!! Also other shops open are wine shops and hotel chocolat - their argument is that wine and chocolate is food and drink!

Councils are too frightened to act and the police attitude is they don't want to get involved unless there's a disturbance.

Even Currys/PC World are flouting the rules near us - they have click and collect by their main doors and also a girl in a chair with a credit card machine so a customer can ask what they want and it's fetched for them.

This is why Covid is spreading! Essential shops should be your traditional supermarkets only and there's not that many so perhaps they should be named and every other shop made to close!

Why the f uck are B&Q and Paint shops essential!!!

I'm not sure I agree with that, what is and isn't essential can be different for different people.

If you had a disaster at home, lets say you had a leak and could get flooded - and need a DIY part, that is an essential.

If you have a business and your laptop breaks, then that is an essential.

I don't mind these shops being open as long as they are sensible, click and collect shouldn't be much of a risk to anyone.

    .

Good points on those 123. Wine shops open - perhaps essential for those desperate for quality vino! Hotel chocolat - perhaps essential for fat f uckers and Marks and Spencer’s clothes - perhaps essential for trannies in these strange times with the excuse of visiting the food hall!

Where do you stop - Sports Direct open for new trainers to carry out your one hour exercise!

I've been doing a bit around the house of late. Thankfully Homebase was open so I could buy the appropriate drill bit to fit the barrel on the handle for the door I fitted. I'd have felt like a right pillock hollowing said door out with a corkscrew I've got as I drank wine in my stockings and suspenders. Oops.
