No issue with him deciding not to come into work but should the Club be paying him in full? (at a guess they are)

Most companies policy are unpaid time off or SSP

Very difficult, puts the Club in an impossible position. Thomas has to do what he believes is right for him and his family but the Club can't pay all the players to be at home? Tough one....

It says he is training on his own to keep fitness up etc.

What happens say next week if we want him to play or be a sub im guessing he will refuse by the statement Curtis/Ardley gave.

Yep totally agree.
One thing to be playing football in the summer and autumn when cases/hospitalisations/deaths were relatively low, whole different situation now.

Complete sympathy with Wes Thomas’s situation.

He's doing the right thing. Tricky, but difficult times.

Somewhat backs up what I've said about the effects of Covid. There are more effects than just physical. And there may be players feeling the same but still training and playing.

Don't do it m_m!!!! Don't encourage the Fake Dr back he's only just disappeared.

No blame should be aimed at Wes Thomas IMO, obviously far more important than football.

If he won't train with others, he won't play with others, so where does that leave Notts. As someone said what if other squad members did the same we would be right down the bottom end of the league.
