I agree Mick, i stopped going before Pulis, i had fallen out of love with the game in general.
I think people will tend to choose games rather than buy an ST, so we will probably see fluctuations in attendances.

I’ve mentioned plenty of times about how I “lost the love” under Pullis and got out of the habit of attending matches.
45 years of striving to not miss matches came to an end and once I’d got over the first few games it surprised me how little it bothered me.
Given the situation with Lai, the worst team we’ve had in living memory ( at the standard in which it’s playing ) and the financial situation a lot of people will now find themselves in once the Covid debacle subsides, I’m starting to wonder how many people will chuck it in, they’ll come to the opinion that it’s not worth the effort and that they haven’t missed it as much as they thought they would?
Ten years ago if you’d asked me, Des, Chris and maybe now even BaggieAl if they’d be so apathetic about coming to a match I think we’d all have laughed you off as an imbecile.
I can see 10-20% of “regulars” not bothering.

I’m really tired of modern football with overpaid primadonnas, useless refs, biased VAR, too much money, disinterested owners from far away, constant diving & cheating, clubs and players not giving a f**k about loyal & true fans etc, etc...
I think many feel like me, in general, and if so, it will have an impact on future attendances.
Gave up with a season ticket about 10 years ago missed it a bit for the first season but not at all now
Go to a few games a season now and don’t miss it at all the main thing I miss is the few hours before hand with your mates in the pub
I can honestly say that in a way Covid has done me a favour football wise. My son and I have saved on season tickets plus the petrol money that would have been spent travelling from Leicester and back. We both said that with the performances that we've displayed this season what would be the point in making the journey every other week anyway.
We (me and “she who must be obeyed”) will continue to attend, irrespective of whatever league. (Health and finances permitting) We have attended for many years, my first match was 1961/2 season...we lost to West Ham! Our 2 sons (now living in Canada & Oz) maintain their support, managing to locate match streams unavailable here ! Our post match FaceTime conversations becoming hard, but character building for our grandchildren!
It is very much ‘in the blood’ for me, clearly an inexplicable somewhat masochistic drive ! I have never booed a player wearing the shirt...albeit have refused to applaud certain players over the years
We bought our ‘early bird’ season ticket renewals it seems ages ago ! So I guess we’re locked in.....
Good thread this. So whilst I continued to go to games under Pulis I didn’t keep up a season ticket and only went to Saturday home games as a rule, having a 5 hour round trip to watch the negative rubbish wasn’t worth it. I got my mojo back under Bilic and my lad and I went to a lot more games both home and away and likely I would have gone back to having season tickets. I am now thoroughly disheartened with the state of the club and am now feeling as I did in the dark days of Pulis. A sad state of affairs...
The night is always darkest just before the dawn... he said hopefully.
