One article I read today said "Roy tells Benteke to step up to the plate" The guy is on £125,000 a week and he's not getting stuck in. I cant help but think that that is half the problem. How much desire does he have when he says he's happy at Palace but isn't trying hard enough? I would rather have Troy Deeney to be honest because at least he knows what a relegation dogfight is and might give it a go. There must be a lot of financially comfortable players around now who are comfortable warming a bench.
