    Jake Livermore

Please can somebody tell me what this waste of space actually does?

Sawyers ( thank god ) was dropped but why is Livermore still here - captain as well! For f uck sake!

I knew Fulham would get that second goal as we really are pathetic!

Please please - get rid of Sawyers, Livermore, Phillips and Gibbs - they are shocking beyond belief!

Another 2 goals coming from crosses that Gibbs should be cutting out.
We need 2 fullbacks, not good enough.

Livermore, I think his level is probably a squad player in a bottom six team. Actually that puts him quite high in comparison to the majority of our squad.

Honestly I think only Johnstone, Pereira and Gallagher would possibly get into any yes ANY other first 11.
How many would get into Norwich is another question.

I will never understand why we can’t have a Pullis and Megson type of defender.

Just because the rest of the team is a “footballing side” why the hell can’t we have 4 at the back who a true, no risk defenders?

This isn’t difficult, we had players like G Mac, Olsson and Dawson who all signed from a lower level and formed the bulk of our best defence since 1982.

I do not believe there are not half a dozen defenders from the Championship and League One and abroad who are capable of heading, tracking, blocking etc.

I’m not interested in their ability to carry the ball out and find 50 yard defence splitting passes.

Paul Butler from Port Vale reserves was one of Megson’s best signings and a reason we stayed up in that first season under Sir Gary.

He had the uncanny ability to get his head on corners and block crosses as well as put his body on the line.

Butler couldn’t pass 5 yards but he saved our a r s e s and to me is forever a cult hero.

Our present lot are something that sounds like “Cult”.

    Arsenal managed it
When Wenger arrived he kept the backline Dixon Adams Bould Winterburn and just got in some great artists up the other end of the pitch and what a team

Good teams always have the ability to manage a game from a winning situation

We were so gormless at 2-1 Fulham were deflated we were jammy but should have closed the game out

No one had the inclination to manage the game for a win, defenders should be defending first and attackers should be taking the heat out of situations by holding the ball up and running into corners and shielding but I didn’t see that at all

Megson should have stayed when he came back - Pardew/Moore/Shan were not fit to polish his shoes. West Brom through and through. Remember the night game at Accrington he came over to all the supporters and had so much time for the kids.

Fat Sam just in it for the money. Doncaster some say - they won’t go up as they didn’t go up last year but good luck to Big Dave as that’s his level.

Megson was still good enough as is Hodgson!

Would have preferred Mego to FatSam

Also with regards to Livermore ive been saying he’s ****e since we signed him if you look at my older posts
He doesn’t help enough at the back or add enough going forward
