On today’s showing would bring back Townsend as soon as he’s fit .... not as skilful or experienced as Gibbs ,,,, but he’s a fighter and committed .... both goals against cam from LHS ....

Funny you should say that. He was one of four of our highest rated performances today. Based on stats like tackles, clearances etc. He was also one of our best winners of headers. So we might have noticed some mistakes but according to stats he more than made up for it.

He was absolutely crap! Stats don’t show up being out of position and exposed! Townsend would be a better option. To think Gibbs and Livermore are on two of the highest salaries - they should be on the lowest!

Diagne showed more fight in 5 minutes than almost all of this spineless lot in 50 minutes and he had just got off a plane!

Fat Sam should have Sawyers, Livermore, Phillips and Gibbs no where near the team - these chaps contributed massively to Slaven getting the sack thus putting his trust in them for too long!

What I have noticed on a number of occasions , there are times when he see's a situation, he looks as if his protecting his hamstring so doesn't sprint or make the run to cover.
Micheal Owen said the same in a resent interview, that n his last 7 years there were runs he couldn't make and said he should retired.

I thought he played well. Not mistakeless, But well. And we should congratulate him on his 100th appearance for our club. But no. Let’s attack the guy. I wonder why any players play for this club sometimes.
