Old School Friends From Your Year.

I’ve recently joined a FB site for my old secondary school.

There’s been a sudden influx of people from my era of 73-78.

Interestingly, most of the hot chicks from the era are now fat and frumpy and the cool lads from that era haven’t faired much better.

The plainer girls who didn’t get much attention are the ones who are now quite stunning.

I’m so grateful that the best looking birds from 78 didn’t give in to my advances, I could be stuck with some great heffer🤣

Anybody else on the same sort of old school site?

Yes, I am Mick, though there are no girls as it was an all boys school. Not too far from our school was Ribston Hall, an all girls school. I didn't pass it on my way home but detoured a few times.

Not on a school site but have a few friends on FB who I was at school with.
One was on about a reunion but I don't think that would be a good idea, a lot are no longer with us and others are scattered from Preston down to the south coast.
Better to remember how we all were.

My best mate at school was Laurie Walton, the girl we all fancid was Yvonne H*****, the Brigitte Bardot of the school, no luck though.

Evening all, see a few pop up on local FB site and see a few locally out and about. They all look sooo old and unattractive. I think i look loads better but I doubt i do. Age and time are funny things! Where do the years go.....?

I arranged a school reunion for 25 years in 2003 and it was a hoot.

We’re now looking to do a 45 year one in 2023.

Unsurprisingly.......the people who were t w a t s in 1978 were even more so 25 years later.

They won’t be invited this time.

It was amazing though how many of the girl’s husbands had insisted on coming to the evening with them and how many of the lads turned up on their own 😏😆
