I had wondered whether there would be a minutes silence in memory of Sir Tom before this week’s matches; it sounds like there wasn’t, not at Bramall Lane, anyway.

Both teams decide NOT to take the knee and to undertake a one minutes applause for Capt Tom - well done as this was fantastic for a legend who raised millions!!!
Losers in the Premier - Sheff U v West Brom still take the knee!!! How f uckin disrespectful in comparison. Don't the FA get it - supporters are SICK TO DEATH seeing this every week now. Banners/electronic scoreboards - united against racism yes!
Well done Norwich and Millwall - see you next year ( well Millwall anyway )
Lets hope more pay respect to Capt Tom!

An absolute disgrace.
I wonder what that c u n t Lewis Hamilton will have to say about this?
Maybe professional footballers should think after earning 50K a week - so what for the odd nasty comment although not acceptable and there’s Capt Tom a nobody who raised 35 million!
F uck taking the knee - let’s all remember a true legend Capt Tom!
Thank you to Millwall and Norwich and they have black players too!! All this taking the knee is backed by political snowflakes! I bet the black players from these two teams would rather have respected Capt Tom than taking the knee - yawn yawn!
PS - no mention of the nastiness on line to those who are fat - not good looking or handicapped!
I honestly believe that we have had more of these despicable racial comments since the 'Black Lives Matter' campaign than prior to it. The problem is that it is more of a political movement than anti racist. We already have our own 'Kick It Out' message which we should continue with and stop 'Taking the Knee' as it has just become routine. It won't alter anything but actions by us as individuals will. If we treat all people with respect that will change things, not a repetitive action which so many disagree with.
I’ve just read the BBC report of the Millwall match and there is no mention of the teams not doing the blended knee crap, I suppose that is to be expected of the BBC nowadays.
