Players currently out of contract

I know I am clutching at straws here but why can we not sign players who are currently out of contract??? They could be signed on a short term basis on on the basis of appearances. We dont seem to be creative - for example Jack Wiltshire and if you look at the many out of contract I am sure we could find one/two to do a short stint for us rather than have 6 players out injured and have no real substitutes.

We can sign players who are free agents and also up to 4 loan players I think, there must be some half decent players out there.

Said this before BT , maybe it’s Dyche who won’t get the players in —- loans have never been allowed to work for us and there has been some good players among them.

It’s a fine line I think between loyalty to existing player and playing loanees.

Sean doesn’t do subs really never mind subs on loan to us.
