    Red Wine

Got my hard hat ready in case but i don't like beer or lager.
Don't think you need to pay more than 8 quid for a decent bottle of Red,
My favourites are 19 Crimes or Dark Horse from ASDA or Morrisons, any recommendations TIA.

Drink lots of red Pete but nowadays either buy it on draft or via bag in a box (€15 for 10 litres).

Looking at what Asda have on sale at under £8 these look good. Have you tried either?

Links don’t work for me. I like Jam Shed when I can get it.

By any chance have you been banned from Asda?

    The links were to:-

Casillero del Diablo Shiraz. Chile. £8 a bottle. 13.5%.

Masso Antico Primitivo. Italy. £7 a bottle (reduced from £8). 14%.

I’ve had the Shiraz and like it. Malbec, Shiraz and CabSauv generally do it for me. I find Italian wines unpalatable.

I used to be of a similar opinion. However after a few holidays in Italy I began to get a taste for it.

Over the years I have noticed that you tend to get a taste for whatever you drink regularly. It doesn't mean it is good though!

There were several bitters I used to hate on first pint at away games, but after a few more pints (or in some cases seasons) began to like.

I’ve also drunk some decent stuff in Italy but can never find it when I get back. I read somewhere that Italy is the biggest per capita wine producer in the world and I reckon that they export most of it and keep the good stuff for themselves.

I like Barefoot wines, also Hardys Stamp CavSauy/Shiraz. They set the target for other wines at that price-point imvho.
