Disgusting that Mike Dean should be receiving death threats to him and his family. He doesn't deserve any of those cowardly acts. That doesn't alter the fact that he has made some very poor decisions of late and I'm not happy that he is in charge of our game with Burnley. It probably would have been better if he had been stood down for a couple of weeks.

We have refs squaring up to players now. Most have probably seen it but i'll post the link anyway.

Totally agree on death threats and abuse sent to his family .... totally moronic.... But as a referee in all the games I have seen him in action, he has no empathy with the players, he overreacts and goes out of his way to make controversial decisions which then make him the centre of attention.

Looked like a right roughhouse of a game that based on the few highlights ..... needed Wyatt Earp to sheriff that one ....

And Michael Oliver's set to be the Video Assistant Referee. He seems to have a good reputation with some but I've often been left scratching my head at his decision making.

I think the problem is that the referees who are in charge of VAR are in a world of their own and what do we, the common people, know about the game compared to them? The fact that 99.9% of the rest of us, including ex-players and pundits interviewed after the game, think differently doesn't appear to make the slightest bit of difference to them.

I’m past caring, I just want an end to this season; let’s get back to the Championship and pray that someone will relieve the Chinese of the club ownership.
