Our bench has no established Strikers, Wingers or central midfielders at all. 2 Goalies if I am not mistaken and just 2 first team defenders. We are threadbare as a club and looking to extend Brady's contract, who virtually never plays because the thought of replacing him with a fit younger effective guy fills the power brokers with dread. I thought they might have had to consider putting a ball boy on the bench at this rate. Shocking I know we have injuries but we choose not to do anything and look at the state of affairs now!!!

The team/squad should have been addressed 3 season's ago Dave, but Garlick chose to say it was making Burnley Football Club stable for the future, what he really meant was "Making my nest egg bigger and better when I sell the Club".

Our recruitment has been significantly poor for some time. We should be looking NOW (not just offering new contracts to existing squad members) but to identifying players who will significantly improve what we have. Whether the Blades are relegated or not we should be looking at making a move for John Lundstram. Brentford are a selling club and I like what I have seen of Ivan Toney. Tarks will probably be leaving so we will need a new CB. The recent improvement of Matt Lowton has been very welcome but we need to buy a right back. JBG and Brady are both injury prone so a pacy right winger should also be in our thinking. A significant rebuild is an absolute necessity. Get on with it!

True enough Outwood, but it's been true for the last three summers and nothing has happened. It might be $hite to watch, but how on earth Dyche has kept this threadbare squad of journeymen in the PL is beyond me. The man's a feckin genius, end of.
