    Soulman.

I know you said your brother runs a lot still Lloyd, I think you said he’s 67 and does 10 miles a day?

I do half that distance 6 days a week and that’s hard enough at nearly 60.

I’d be interested to know how long it’s taking him to do his 10 miles and what sort of mile times he can do if he pushes himself.

I could still do a mile in just over 6 1/2 minutes when I was about to turn 58 but most days I run on average around 7.45 to 8 minute miles when just running an even pace.

I’d be interested in his stats?

I'll ask him. Last week he ran from West Brom to Cape Hill Smethwick for his jab, they asked him if was driving and need to rest for 15 minutes, he said he was running back.
I used to be a good runner I came 2nd in the Midlands crosscountry and 18th in the National.
    Wish I could run now.

I said he's averaging around 6 1/2 minutes but feels he could run faster. Some days he wil do a straight ten, then other days he will go out twice and 2 x 5 miles.
His running mate who is 52 is doing it in 5 1/2, So he does about 3 mile before he meets up with my brother.

Those are amazing times for runners of those ages Lloyd, they must be phenomenal athletes.

You mentioned your brother runs every day and that makes it more remarkable because having no rest days normally detracts from times and also tends to leads to injuries.

I always have a rest day and sometimes two per week and I always run better in the couple of days after the rest day.
