Limited crowd confirmed at FA Trophy final

The FA have announced that this season’s Buildbase FA Trophy final will be played with ‘limited spectators’ at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 22 May.

The match will form part of Non-League Finals day, with the winners of the FA Vase to be decided on the same day.

Supporters will be admitted in line with the government’s roadmap out of lockdown and the FA will be providing more details at the earliest opportunity.

We take on Hornchurch for a place in the final on Saturday 27 March, with Hereford facing Woking in the other semi-final.

The final will be broadcast live on BT Sport.

Brilliant news. If we didn't have to beat Hornchurch to get there, I would be camping outside Meadow Lane to be first in the ticket queue.

If we can't enjoy it, I'm sure the Hornchurch fans will have an unforgettable day.

If we do get to the final, that’s another game we’ll have to rearrange - Weymouth at home, which is the last scheduled home game of the season.

Great news for those who fancy it, could they play last seasons final same day & make a day of it or would this attract to many fans? it will be BT sports for me I'm afraid, as much as I would fancy the day out I fear that sharing a bus for 8-10 hours with 50 or so strangers just doesn't appeal yet. I hope we get there for the sake of those who would love to attend but it's each to their own I suppose.

Last year's are to be played a few weeks before, with no fans.

I bet it's 10,000 fans. Once the sponsors and whoever else have had their dibs, there will be about 2,000 tickets, max, for each club.

If we get there, we need to hope Long Eaton reach the Vase final, as there may be some tickets available to Notts fans that way.
