    This weekend's other games.

    Right.

Palace out of it now (and West Brom further in the shit). Bastard scouse mackems are busy handing Burnley 3 points (although they've just got one back).

Surely Fulham won't get anything against Man City? Mind, that's me just hoping because they're on such a roll and this has been the sort of season where results like that happen.

I think Southampton will beat Brighton, especially if they play anywhere near the way they did against Man City) and the Sheff Utd game is irrelevant.

Generally, the three worst teams go down each season (there aren't many who are genuinely unlucky to go down) and I don't think you could argue that we aren't one of the three worst. In fact, on form, surely we must be the worst?

Erm...talking of Man City tonight, they're not starting with Gundogan, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Sterling or Foden.

Forget Fulham they will finish well clear.

I think Burnley are out now, 5 points clear.

Between us, Brighton and Fulham for the last spot and yes, I can really see it being us.

It's absolutely incredible that it's been allowed to get to this position again!!

And, as far as Bruce is concerned, what makes it so much worse is his refusal to admit we're in trouble and the way he won't accept any criticism or blame for the position we're in. I have an unhealthy level of hate for the man.

Plus, if we go down, all the signs are that he'll keep his job and folk will say he deserves his chance to take us back up.

I'm afraid I agree with Geordie-anyone who continues to go is part of the problem. I can understand why fans will still go and I'm not going to start insulting them either-everyone has the right to make that choice, as I did until a couple of summers ago-but attending comes with a consequence (in the form of keeping Ashley here).

Man City winning 2 nil but Fulham were very much in the game until then-still are albeit with a lot to do.

So Fulham have taken the game to the league leaders...meanwhile we set up defensively against the two worst sides in the division.

Man City pen makes it 3-0

It’s between us and Brighton (as it was at the top of the Chimpo last time).
I think that if there is a loser in our next game, looking at remaining fixtures, then that is the team to go down.

    No pressure, then.
