Rooney wants the Football League to investigate our backlog!

Skimming through the feedback from last weekends fixtures, I came across the Derby v Millwall result, expecting to read how Rooney said they had the most possession, pressed well but, failed to capitalise with their poor finishing blah, blah, blah.

Instead he rants on about wanting the FL to investigate RUFC and their current backlog.

''It's strange the amount of times Rotherham are picking up the virus''.

''They seem to keep picking up this virus and cancelling games and I don't know when they are going to fit them all in''

He's worried we'll have an advantage playing teams who may have little to play for.

''You hope the teams who are safe or not going for promotion, teams in the middle of the table, are going to field their strongest teams. If not, it'll be an advantage to them, which is something they may have looked into''.

I think Tony Stewart needs to get our club legal representatives onto this and have Rooney explain himself to the Football League with such an outlandish slur and accusation. Does he not realise just how many of our players and Management have come down with this possible life threatening disease!

This sounds like another desperate Manager attempting to deflect HIS poor performance and results of late. Talk about desperation, the man's an idiot and a fool for using such a crass statement accusing RUFC of underhanded skullduggery.

mmmmm.... strange how Rooney and Karanka think we have an advantage. If their teams were in our position I'm sure they would be moaning about playing twice a week every week and how their players can't manage that, there is not enough recovery time, injuries and tiredness in games etc and that that is very much a disadvantage.

This is the guy who has been tipped one day to manage Man Utd. Well he's got one part in readiness....arrogance or should I say ignorance?

With the emphasis on "ugly head" in his case!

They included within our postponements that they would investigate as is standard. Stop trying to apply excessive pressure on them just because your team has stuttered again. Get them to hurry up with their investigation into Derby whilst you're there and dock you some points for irregularities. Bugger off you prat.

Two managers who can’t handle their **** job at their club so trying to blame little old Rotherham

How embarrassing but it’s of no surprise

If anybody needs investigating I’d be looking at Rooney pretending to be a manager

It is just an old trick of deflecting the real issue of how poor they were.

Tottenham were awful yesterday but because Jose spoke about the ref, hardly anyone mentions how bad they were
