    O/T F1 up and running.

Bahrain gets it all under way, with Murray probably looking down from above. Bless him.

A very tight circuit and driven in the evening which I hate to see. Didn't even get the first lap completed before one of the new rookies, Nikita Mazepin over throttles his car on the first bend and wraps it into the safety barrier. Lot to learn young man.

This season sees Mick Schumacher Son of Michael making his F1 debut. Would you believe it, he too spins his car after the restart and from the same stable as Mazepin. Eager beavers springs to mind.

Max Verstappen set off in pole position with Hamilton 2nd. I can see this being a good race and Hamilton pushed all the way throughout the season.

I know it's not everyone's sport but each to our own heh.

Very clever of Mercedes to pit after only 14 laps and opt for the hard tyre. Red Bull decided not to and have paid the price already as Hamilton is now over 5 seconds in front of Verstappen.

Whoa! wait a minute. Verstappen has chopped 2 seconds of Hamilton's time. Maybe Red Bull have got it right opting for the medium tyre.

Excellent end to the race, 15 laps left with Hamilton 7.229 secs in the lead but Verstappen taking half a second off each lap with new tyres on. Great viewing.

Verstappen left the track to overtake Hamilton very naughty, oh hang on he's given it back to Hamilton so he doesn't get into trouble.

What a finish to a race.

A truly brilliant end to a race....Hamilton wins by 7/10ths of a second. Well done to Verstappen for making it such a brilliant ending.
