We can change the name of the manager. But what won’t change is the league we play in. All those city clubs with much bigger support than us will still exist. They will still have more money than us.
We will still be £200m in debt. We will still only get the 4th lowest attendance in the whole league. We will still have a mid table squad. We will still be a 2nd division mid table club. None of that will change.
We may get really lucky. We may find a Sean Dyche. The probability is we will just get another manager who will steer us to a mid table finish, because that’s who we are.
The likelihood is we will get it wrong, it will get worse and we will likely end up back in Div1.
This right now is Allardyce mark 2. Of which clearly, nobody learnt a single thing.
Back then we where a mid table Prem side. But the same people who want to force this now, also forced Allardyce’s sacking. Because they felt we should be better than Mid table Champ. So we ended up in Dov1 and those same people walked and never returned. Hence we have a decreasing fan base. But yeah, we could take a massive unneeded risk and employ another manager. We need a Dyche. We will end up with Berg, or Kean, or Appleton, or a Coyle.
Can’t wait.
How many games before we all turn on the next manager?
