    I think the Smith red card was rescinded the following afternoon wasn't it? Surely can't take this long as manager has to prepare for tomorrow! Seems ridiculous

    Reads badly dunnit. Dare they do the same thing again for the same ref, against the same team? I wonder if this is a factor in why its taking so long? But how does this help the manager prepare> Surely if the decision isn't made by a certain time, the player cannot be banned from the next game? You can't do it on the evening before the next game surely?

    Probably a different panel but yes they can if the ref is wrong. Keith Hackett’s tweet reckons the ref was wrong.
